Is Halotherapy Safe for Children?

Absolutely! Salt therapy is a completely safe and drug-free treatment for both children and adults. Children as young as 3 months can benefit from salt therapy. An adult must accompany all children under the age of 14, and anyone under 18 must have parental consent.

Can My Family and I Have a HaloTherapy Session if We Are Actively Sick?

It's a common misconception that salt therapy should be sought when actively sick. The best time to seek salt therapy is when you are healthy, using it as a preventative treatment or to manage a chronic illness.

To maintain a healthy and safe environment, we aim to limit exposure to active illnesses. If you suspect that you or your child are ill, please reschedule your salt therapy session until you are no longer contagious and have been fever-free for at least 24 hours.

How Many Sessions Are Necessary to Get Maximum Benefits?

Halotherapy yields the best results when practiced regularly, as its benefits are cumulative. Consistency and frequency are crucial. Individuals with chronic issues can benefit significantly from at least 3-4 sessions a week. For those incorporating salt therapy into their regular wellness routine, a weekly session is beneficial. Halotherapy can be used daily without any side effects.

Are There Any SIgnificant Side Effects from Halotherapy?

Typically, there are no side effects other than possible thirst. However, if you are on medication or have a serious medical condition, please consult with your doctor before starting any therapy.
